On August 2nd, the Brazilian Army Commission in Washington was visited by a delegation of cadets from the Military Academy of Agulhas Negras - AMAN and students of the Military Engineering Institute -IME. On this occasion, there was a reception for the visitors led by Col. LIMA, Chief of the Brazilian Army Commission, followed by a presentation to the Army Attaché to the USA and Canada, Brigadier General LEONEL.
The visit started at the Logistics Section, during which the agility in the dispatch of the export licenses, the organization, storage and all the logistics for transporting the material purchased by the Brazilian Army Commission (BAC) and submitted to various destinations in Brazil was evidenced. In following, there was a discussion about the procurement process abroad, made by the BAC, on behalf of the Brazilian Army.
The visit was a great opportunity for cadets and students to learn about the activities of the BAC, the only finance management unit of the Brazilian Army abroad.[Pic 1] [Pic 2]
